The Origins and Spread of Agriculture in the South-western Mediterranean Region is an ERC Advanced Grants project lead by Leonor Peña Chocarro of the Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales - Instituto de Historia (CSIC). My role relates to the assessment of the phytolith evidence for uncover the presence and distribution of cereals when charred remains are scarce or absent. This project will include a post-doc position at the IMF in Barcelona from January 2010.
